The Translational Medicine Research Group headed by Prof. Pablo Sinues at the University Children's Hospital Basel ( UKBB ) -Department of Biomedical Engineering (University of Basel)- is an internationally leading research group in the field of novel diagnostic tools development, aiming to be the future standard of care. This position is part of the new research project funded by a prestigious Eccellenza Grant by the Swiss National Science Foundation.

Your position

  • Co-ordinate and provide administrative support to the team.
  • Compile and maintain project-specific status reports.
  • Interact with the project collaborators and regulatory authorities (e.g. Ethical Committee).
  • Conducting the informed consent process and ensuring compliance with the protocol.
  • Preparing and submitting the case report forms, assuring its timely completion.
  • Assist the Principal Investigator in submission of accurate documents to applicable bodies.
  • Arrange secure storage of study documents that will be maintained according to UKBB policy.
  • Support the financial management.
  • Coordinate project meetings and produce quality minutes.

The research will be carried out within a 5-year project. We offer a friendly, professional, international and interdisciplinary working environment. Your employment will be contracted according to standard regulations at University of Basel. The project will start in May 2019 or upon mutual agreement.
